03 / PROJECT STUDY
DSCODE
A coding agent workspace across terminal and Desktop. Contributions focused on the connections users depend on: setup, browser access, and account state.

CONTRIBUTIONS / DESKTOP & RUNTIME
Connected.
With boundaries.
One workspace. Explicit ownership.
01 / THE PROJECT
The coding session has more than one surface.
DSCODE brings a coding agent workflow to terminal and Desktop surfaces. Jiahang contributed to the shared project’s Desktop integration, browser isolation, distribution, and balance state. The changes below link to their merged revisions.
02 / SELECTED CHANGES
Small boundaries, visible consequences.
Desktop integration & distribution
Added Desktop discovery and package identity, with fixed-version installation and archive verification. The next release revised the package boundary.
↗09 OCT 2026 / 0.7.35Keep browser tools inside their session
Scoped Desktop browser tools to DSCODE sessions and separated Hub UI from the Desktop package. Setup and settings were aligned with the host application.
↗12 OCT 2026 / BALANCE STATEAccount changes should change the cache
Invalidated credential-scoped snapshots, rejected obsolete responses, and preserved currency and account/key-limit labels in terminal and Desktop views.
↗03 / A CLOSER LOOK
A delayed response can belong to the wrong account.
A credential changes while an earlier balance request is still pending. If that response is accepted without checking ownership, the interface can show a balance from the previous credential.
Invalidate the cached snapshot associated with it.
Reject the obsolete response instead of replacing the current account’s state.
The same contribution keeps currency and balance-source labels intact and rejects malformed amounts instead of inventing a zero. Its recorded tests use mocked billing; live billing and the signed Desktop GUI remained outside that change’s validation.
